"Big Chilling" (2024)
Characters from Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Programs used: Blender (modeling, compositing), Aseprite (texturing)
"Meow Miau Moo" (2022)
Where did all these creatures come from? They seem hard at work, under the guise of night. You can't help but feel inclined to join them in their antics...
Programs used: Maya (modeling), Substance Painter (texturing), Procreate (sketching)
I drew most of my inspiration from I Spy books
I later re-posed the character in Blender and re-did its materials using Blender's shader nodes to practice making NPR shaders.I rendered them to make them into stickers!
Programs used: Blender (rigging, lighting, compositing), Clip Studio Paint (compositing)
"✦ Wanderland ✦" (2023)
A deceptively charming city of your own creation. Reality seeps in when you drift closer to the shores. Isn't it about time you stopped having imaginary friends?
Programs used: Procreate, Clip Studio Paint Pro
2D animation version of Bonhwa for an assignment in Unity 2D.
Programs used: Aseprite
Character Design: "Atlas"
A laid-back space nomad on an aimless journey through the vast universe, going with the flow of his travels.
Programs used: Maya, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint Pro
Re-modeled, textured, and animated Atlas in Blender in a low-poly style.
Programs used: Blender (modeling, rigging, lighting, animation), Aseprite (texturing)
Atlas' initial concept was born from wanting to see an absurd amount of hair stuffed into a tiny helmet. I drew a lot from Kaiba (2008) for his character's visual direction.
Character Design: "Aed"
A spoiled fae with too much power and time on his hands for his own good.
Programs used: Procreate (sketching), Zbrush (sculpting, texturing)
Aed was designed for a fantasy role-playing Discord server. I wanted to play as a character that is highly attuned to magic but physically unimpressive.
Character Design: "Bbang"
